Facebook Community for Women

Do you ever wonder where your limiting money beliefs come from, or how to change them? As a financial coach for women, I specialize in helping my clients reboot their money mindsets. I have observed one core aspect that makes a big difference: community.

Recently I was challenged with the question, “What would you do in your business if money wasn’t an issue?” To my surprise, I didn’t even hesitate with my answer:

Create a community for women to realize they are not alone in their financial stress and limiting money beliefs. Ensure there is no monetary investment required so all women – including those who are financially vulnerable –  have support as they make financial progress.

A new Facebook Community for women

So I just launched a Facebook Community focusing on a topic we can all relate to: “End Money Stress – for Women”

I will facilitate discussion by offering topics and providing guidance from my professional perspective.  Currently, we are pursuing greater Money Harmony, which is an antidote to financial stress and limiting money beliefs. This discussion includes one of the most important building blocks of Money Harmony: our Money Personalities. Once you understand your wiring and your default financial behaviors, you can adopt a new mindset through conversation and exercises. Future topics include Overcoming Money Myths, issues for single women, and avoiding the B-word that rhymes with “smudge-it” and should be replaced with the phrase “Spending Plan.”

My webinar: Money Personality – Finding Your Financial Blind Spot. This 30-minute training will help you interpret your Money Personality quiz results and give you suggestions on how to reach greater Money Harmony.

Members of the group will receive complimentary access to many of my proprietary coaching tools, including quizzes (you and your friends can take the Money Personality Quiz this month), webinars (my Finding Your Financial Blind Spot webinar – a $35 value – is now available) and exercises (Overcoming Money Myths will be available soon.)

In case you are wondering how community makes such a difference in our finances, here are several reasons:

  • We can talk about money without discussing dollar signs.  We don’t need to know about the size of incomes or debts to be able to relate to one another
  • When we discount money conversations as a taboo topic, our money issues are left in the dark like some long-ago forgotten accessory in the corner of the closet. If we shed some light on our financial strengths, weaknesses, tendencies and fears, the shame begins to fall away and is replaced by financial confidence.A new Facebook community for women
  • We aren’t alone.  In all of my coaching relationships with clients, I see the same themes arising over and over again. When I tell my clients, “I know lots of women who feel this way, and have overcome it,” there is an immediate sense of camaraderie and power.
  • Women are excellent collaborators. When we work together, nothing can stop us.
